Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Islamabad
- Arrival in Islamabad, transfer to hotel.
- Sightseeing: Visit Faisal Mosque and Lok Virsa Museum.
- Briefing about the Gilgit Baltistan trekking adventure.
- Overnight in Islamabad.
Day 2: Islamabad to Chilas
- Option 1: Drive via Karakoram Highway (KKH) (10–12 hours).
- Option 2: Fly to Gilgit (if weather permits) and drive to Chilas.
- Overnight in Chilas.
Day 3: Chilas to Fairy Meadows
- Drive to Raikot Bridge (2–3 hours).
- Jeep ride to Tattu Village, followed by a 3–4 hour trek to Fairy Meadows.
- Enjoy breathtaking views of Nanga Parbat (8,126m).
- Campfire and overnight stay in wooden huts/tents.
Day 4: Nanga Parbat Base Camp Trek
- Full-day trek to Nanga Parbat viewpoint (8–10 hours round trip).
- Pass Beyal Camp and Rakhiot Glacier.
- Return to Fairy Meadows for overnight stay.
Day 5: Fairy Meadows to Hunza
- Trek back to Tattu, jeep ride to Raikot Bridge.
- Drive to Hunza Valley (5–6 hours).
- Visit Rakaposhi View Point and check in at hotel.
- Explore Baltit Fort, Altit Fort, and Karimabad Bazaar.
- Overnight in Hunza.
Day 6: Explore Hunza & Passu Cones
- Visit Eagle’s Nest for a sunrise view.
- Explore Attabad Lake and Hussaini Suspension Bridge.
- Drive to Passu, short hikes around Passu Cones.
- Overnight in Gulmit/Passu.
Day 7: Full Day in Hunza Karimabad

- Visit Ganish Village, the oldest settlement in Hunza.
- Overnight in Hunza.
Day 8: Hunza to Skardu
- Drive from Hunza to Skardu (7–8 hours).
- Scenic stops at Rakposhi viewpoint drive along indus river.
- Overnight in Skardu.
Day 9: Skardu – Khaplu – Kanday – Mingulo Broq
- Drive from Skardu to Khaplu (3–4 hours).
- Continue to Kanday Village (2–3 hours).
- Trek (3–4 hours) to Mingulo Broq, a beautiful alpine meadow.
- Camp overnight in Mingulo Broq.
Day 10: Mingulo Broq – Nangma Valley
- Trek from Mingulo Broq to Nangma Valley (4–5 hours).
- Stunning views of granite rock towers and glaciers.
- Overnight in tents at Nangma Valley campsite.
Day 11: Nangma Valley – Kanday – Skardu
- Trek back to Kanday Village (3–4 hours).
- Drive back to Skardu (5–6 hours).
- Evening rest and overnight in Skardu.
Day 12: Skardu to Islamabad (Flight or Drive to Chilas)
- Fly back to Islamabad (if weather allows).
- If by road, drive to Chilas (8–9 hours).
- Overnight in Islamabad/Chilas.
Day 13: Chilas to Islamabad (If by Road)
- Drive back via Karakoram Highway.
- Arrive in Islamabad by evening.
