Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Islamabad (540m)
Arrival at Islamabad International Airport. Our Broad Peak Climbing Expedition,our or hotel staff will welcome the team and transfer members to the hotel. Initial briefing, document verification, and rest after international travel.
Overnight: Hotel in Islamabad
Day 02: Islamabad – Skardu (2,230m)
Early morning flight to Skardu (subject to weather). Enjoy spectacular aerial views of Nanga Parbat and the Karakoram Range. On arrival, transfer to hotel.
If the flight is canceled, travel by road via the Karakoram Highway (2 days).

Day 03: Skardu – Rest & Expedition Preparations
Rest day in Skardu for recovery and acclimatization. Final shopping for fresh supplies, fuel check, porter arrangements, and completion of Broad Peak climbing permits and government formalities.

Day 04: Skardu – Askole (3,050m)
Drive by 4x4 jeep along the Indus and Braldu Rivers to Askole, the last settlement before the Karakoram glaciers and the gateway to the Broad Peak climbing expedition route.

Day 05: Askole – Jhola (3,200m)
Start trekking for the Broad Peak climbing expedition. Trek along the Braldu River with impressive views of Bakhor Das Peak.
Overnight: Camp at Jhola
Day 06: Jhola – Paiju (3,400m)
A scenic trek with gradual ascent. The dramatic granite spires of Trango Towers and Cathedral Peaks dominate the skyline.
Overnight: Camp at Paiju
Day 07: Paiju – Acclimatization & Rest Day
Rest and acclimatization day. Optional short hike on the Paiju Glacier to prepare the body for Baltoro Glacier trekking.

Day 08: Paiju – Khoburtse (3,900m)
Enter the Baltoro Glacier, one of the longest glaciers outside the polar regions, marking a major milestone of the Broad Peak expedition approach.

Day 09: Khoburtse – Urdukas (4,050m)
Trek to Urdukas, one of the most scenic camps on the Baltoro Glacier, offering panoramic views of surrounding granite giants.

Day 10: Urdukas – Goro II (4,300m)
Trek on the central Baltoro Glacier with outstanding views of Masherbrum and Gasherbrum IV.

Day 11: Goro II – Concordia (4,600m)
Trek to Concordia, famously known as the “Throne Room of the Mountain Gods.” Enjoy breathtaking views of K2, Broad Peak, and Gasherbrum I & II.

Day 12: Concordia – Broad Peak Base Camp (4,900m)
Final trek to Broad Peak Base Camp via Concordia. Establish Base Camp, organize climbing equipment, and settle into the expedition routine.

Day 13–15: Broad Peak Base Camp – Rest & Acclimatization
Rest and acclimatization days at Base Camp. Medical checks, route observation, rope-fixing coordination, and acclimatization hikes above Base Camp.

Day 16–40: Broad Peak Climbing & Acclimatization Phase (Normal Route)
This period is dedicated to the core Broad Peak climbing expedition, including:
- Load carries between Base Camp, Camp I, Camp II, and Camp III
- Establishment of high camps and fixing ropes on the standard route
- Multiple rotations for proper acclimatization
- Rest days at Base Camp between carries
- Continuous weather monitoring and route safety assessment

- Camp III: ~7,100m
- Summit Camp (optional): ~7,400m
This flexible window allows climbers to wait for the best summit weather window and ensures safe acclimatization.

Reserved for delayed summit attempts, a second summit window, or additional descent time due to weather conditions.
Day 42: Broad Peak Base Camp – Concordia
Begin trek back after completing the Broad Peak climbing expedition.

Day 43: Concordia – Goro II
Trek back along the Baltoro Glacier.

Day 44: Goro II – Urdukas
Descend with spectacular farewell views of the Karakoram giants.

Trek back to Paiju campsite.

Trek along the Braldu River.
