Welcome to Chogori Adventure one of the leading trekking and adventure travel company based in Pakistan. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website https://chogoriadventure.com/ and all bookings, tours, treks, expeditions, and services provided by us.

 

By accessing our website or booking any service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

 

1. Booking & Contract

 

a)    A booking is considered confirmed once:

§  We receive the required deposit or full payment, and

§  You receive written confirmation from Chogori Adventure via mail or WhatsApp.

 

b)   By booking on behalf of others, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms & Conditions on their behalf.

 

c)    All participants must provide accurate personal information required for Visa sponsor letter,  permits, registrations, and logistics.

 

 

2. Payments & Pricing

 

a)    Prices are quoted in USD, EUR, or other agreed currencies and are subject to change before booking confirmation.

b)   A deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance must be paid by the deadline specified in your confirmation email.

c)    Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers. We do not store credit or debit card details.

d)   Bank transfer fees, currency conversion charges, or third-party payment fees are the responsibility of the client unless otherwise stated.

 

3. Cancellations & Refund Policy

 

By the Client

• Cancellation terms will be clearly stated at the time of booking.
• Deposits are generally non-refundable due to advance logistical arrangements but transferable to next two seasons.
• Partial refunds may apply depending on notice period and incurred costs.

 

By Chogori Adventure

 

We reserve the right to cancel or modify a trip due to:

• Weather conditions
• Natural disasters
• Political or security concerns
• Health emergencies
• Force majeure events

 

In such cases, we will offer:

• An alternative trip
• Rescheduling
• Partial or full refund (excluding non-recoverable costs)

4. Changes to Itineraries

 

a)    Adventure travel in remote regions involves uncertainties. We reserve the right to modify itineraries for safety, logistical, or operational reasons.

 

b)   No refunds will be issued for changes caused by weather, health, altitude issues, or government restrictions.

5. Travel Insurance

 

a)    Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all participants.

b)   Your insurance must cover:

• Trekking and adventure activities
• High-altitude travel
• Emergency evacuation and rescue
• Medical expenses
• Trip cancellation and interruption

Proof of insurance may be requested before trip departure.

 

6. Health, Fitness & Responsibility

a)    Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically and mentally fit for the chosen activity.

b)   You must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect your participation.

c)    Chogori Adventure reserves the right to remove any participant from a trip if their condition poses a risk to themselves or others.

 

7. Permits & Documentation

 

Certain treks and expeditions require government permits, visas, and registrations.

You are responsible for:

• Valid passport and visa
• Providing correct information on time

 

We are not responsible for delays or denial caused by incomplete or incorrect documents.

 

8. Assumption of Risk

 

a)    Adventure travel involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

§  Altitude sickness

§  Extreme weather

§  Terrain hazards

§  Remote medical access

 

b)   By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks and agree to travel at your own responsibility.

 

 

9. Liability & Limitation

 

a)    Chogori Adventure shall not be liable for:

§  Injury, illness, or death

§  Loss or damage to personal belongings

§  Delays caused by airlines, weather, or authorities

 

b)   Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the trip, except where prohibited by law.

 

 

10. Force Majeure

 

We are not liable for failure to perform services due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters
• Political unrest
• Pandemics
• Government restrictions

 

 

11. Use of Images & Media

 

a)    We may use photographs or videos taken during trips for promotional purposes.

b)   If you do not wish to appear in such materials, please inform us in writing before the trip.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

a)    Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy (GDPR compliant).

b)   By booking, you consent to the processing of your data necessary for service delivery.

 

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

 

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Pakistan.

 

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Pakistani courts.

 

14. Amendments

 

Chogori Adventure reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be published on our website with an updated effective date.
